Heads up for anybody who still doesn't have it: EUIII with all of the expansion packs on sale for $7.49 at Gamersgate for the next two weeks... I've been more of an EUII, FtG loyalist myself, but I have a feeling that sometime between now and then, I'm probably going to go for this deal.

:) No problem. And agreed, saving research points in that manner only really works well in a few instances, generally the research techs. JSGME is just a tool to enable a mod-dir more easily, transferring your modded files and vanilla files back and forth. Not a big deal, and if you still want...

Remember though, if rebels break the government, you'll lose all alliances and relations with other countries. That includes any nations that you have Sphered if you are a Great Power.

Bah. Go ahead and stick Lady Gaga in your little mod. The whole game is named after Little Boots. :p

I did that in my Germany game. Nothing like keeping on top of the balance of power, even if it is an ocean away. :D

The lavender is... Provence? Are all of these new states getting differing forms of government?
  14. Victoria II

White peace is status quo. You would be giving Britain what they want, ending the war both with them and Egypt.

What if a solid Finland and Livonia were added in (or possibly a large combo of some sort) to limit Velikorussia's access to the Baltic? Could provide some balance in Europe, though with the side effect of encouraging them to focus on knocking the piss out of China. Agreed in general though...
